Mr. Shahan was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Jenks High School in 2002. He grew up in Seattle. He graduated early from the University of Oklahoma in 2005, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Letters. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2009. Mr. Shahan is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa Bar Association.
When he is not working, Mr. Shahan enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring, watching and making movies, attending sporting events, and reading. He volunteers with Reading Partners in Tulsa to help grade-school students improve their reading skills. He currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
